Russ’s debut short film, Controller (directed by Saman Kesh), featured a hybrid electronic-orchestral score that set the tone for his distinctive style.
In 2019, he composed the score for BBC One’s series remake of The War of the Worlds (directed by Craig Viveiros) and, in 2020/2021, created the evocative soundtrack for BBC America’s The Watch.
